Law firm White & Case chief administrative officer Rick McKenna sees real differences and more complexity in making business travel decisions today than several years ago.

"Back then, you figured out what your patterns were, met with airlines and hotels to a lesser extent and negotiated good rates with them. Then, you funneled as much traffic as you could through those particular vendors. That doesn't work anymore," McKenna said.
