Sep. 1--With most of New Orleans underwater, convention planners and hotel operators are scrambling to find new meeting sites, and Houston could get some of that business.

Officials with the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau and the George R. Brown Convention Center said they've been contacted by displaced groups looking for rooms and meeting space.

But so far, none have been booked, convention center spokesman Pete Radowick said.
