Hewlett-Packard Chairman and CEO Carly Fiorina last week outlined a sweeping reorganization that will see the vendor create a single channel organization and Duane Zitzner take over HP's top channel spot.

The plan, which Fiorina unveiled in an e-mail to employees, will take effect by mid-2004 and will create a new, consolidated channels organization headed by Zitzner, currently executive vice president of HP's Personal Systems Group.
