The Embassy Suites Hotel New York City early this year became the first of Embassy's 160 properties to test the brand's new Creativity Suite concept and the latest in a string of upscale Big Apple hotels to create specialized suites. The moves come at a time when room revenues are lagging, so any form of competitive advantage for a hotel is welcome.
