| Using the computer software program FasType for Windows, you will learn the basic skills of touch-typing. If you already know how to type, this course will help you improve your typing speed and accuracy. When you are finished with the course, continue to use FasType for Windows to improve your keyboarding skills with its intermediate and advanced lessons. |
| Instructor Biography: |
| Kathy Van Pelt has been involved in education for 19 years, teaching and assisting students with microcomputer application courses. She specializes in Microsoft programs, such as Office Suite and Windows. In addition, Kathy is a die-hard WordPerfect fan and can answer just about any WordPerfect question. Kathy has taught a variety of microcomputer application programs at a community college for the past 12 years, and before that taught word processing at a private business college for several years. |
