| Course Overview: |
Learn Macromedia Director MX 2004, the world’s leading multimedia production tool, to create sophisticated and compelling presentations for a wide range of situations and needs. Create high-impact applications for distribution on CDs, corporate intranets, kiosks, the Web, and more.
Combine text, graphics, audio, video, and animated elements to create dazzling interactive presentations, even if you're completely new to the world of multimedia and animation.
This six-week course is designed for beginners with little or no experience with graphic or animation programs. However, if you are already using PowerPoint, Flash, or HTML, you will learn skills for adding sparkle and impact to your existing projects.
You will learn powerful multimedia techniques such as how to add reliable audio playback to a Web page and how to prepare digital video for optimum playback. You'll learn how to sequence computer graphics to create basic animations and how to link Director productions to the Internet or compress them for playback in a Web browser.
The course will also cover how to add user feedback and other interactive capabilities. In the process, you’ll learn each of the four stages of a multimedia project: planning, prototyping, authoring and testing. The course concludes with a handful of handy testing and debugging techniques for keeping your projects running smooth and trouble-free.
